Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Palibelo melalui Pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Palibelo kelas VIII setelah diterapkan pembelajaran  RME. Jenis penelitian adalah PTK dengan empat tahapan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Palibelo di semester gasal tahun 2023/2024. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Palibelo yang berjumlah 22 orang. Instrumen Penelitian berupa lembar pengamtan kegiatan guru dan siswa serta Tes Hasil Belajar untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Analisis data hasil belajar dengan menggunakan rumus ketuntasan klasikal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  persentase ketuntasan klasikal siklus I sebesar 75% dan siklus II sebesar 87,5% disiklus II. Sehingga penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran  Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dapat memaksimalkan hasil belajarmatematika  siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Palibelo.
